When new, the Lincoln LS was intended to be a BMW-fighter, but it was a little underpowered and a little softly suspended for that goal to be achieved. Recalls were issued for fhe fuel delivery systems, front suspenssion and imprperly treated lug nuts.

If those problems have been addressed, there's no reason the LS shouldn't provide 150,000 miles of useful service -- maybe more.

The cars weren't great sellers when new, leading to them being undervalued in the market

i like the Lincoln LS yet that's purely too lots for a LS, go on craigslist and you will locate one thats a greater advantageous deal. i don't if its well worth it to pay greater advantageous than $8k for a Lincoln LS. they're reliable automobiles, 50/50 weight ratio, drives great, although this is made by potential of Ford so which you have maintenance right here and there. Do u prefer to pay $14k for a vehicle that'll won't final 3-4yrs and not using a important restore?

I love the Lincoln LS. Drives & handles better than a 5 series BMW for $$$ less. If you can swing it, the 2003 and newer V8 would be my choice. More HP, a little more refinement and kick *** handling. Options to look for would be the cooled seats, THX sound, HID headlights and advancetrac. Enjoy

Iv never had a Lincoln but I know somebody that's had many Mercury's and they pretty much are the same thing. And it was fine.... very reliable and drove great better than a Cadillac

Looks to much like a Tempo from 1986.

The earlier LS can be an electrical nightmare, this was one of Fords first network multiplexing vehicles
